Information & eGovernment Authority participates in 7th Edition of Bahrain Sports Day 2023

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) participated in the Bahrain Sports Day and organized a range of sport activities for its employees that included a walkathon at Busaiteen coast and Padel challenge at Al Sayah padel, in the presence of iGA’s Chief Executive Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Qaed and the senior management members.
AlQaed stressed that this event comes in implementation of the decision of the esteemed government to set a national day for sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the first week of February of every year, as half working day that enable employees in the public sector to take a part in sports events and activities held by public and private sectors to incorporate the concept of sport as a life style practice by all society members.
The activities were organized by the iGA’s Social Committee, which included competitions, in addition to several exercises. In line with this occasion, iGA employees attended a health and wellbeing virtual lecture entitled "Physical Activity", which was organized by iGA’s Health and Safety Committee in cooperation with the Ministry of Health that highlighted the impact of practicing in physical activities in enhancing the health of individuals.
