iGA Chief Executive Meets NIHR Chairperson

Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed praised the efforts of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) in promoting principles and values aimed at creating a human rights culture.

Al Qaed’s comments were made during a meeting with NIHR Chairperson, Maria Khoury, in the presence of NIHR Secretary General, Yasser Ghanim Shaheen and other representatives of the organization. He welcomed them, applauding their accomplishments, particularly in organizing human rights training programs and workshops, and cooperating with various official bodies and local and international organizations to encourage protecting human rights.

Al Qaed and Khoury reviewed the key role that NIHR plays in projecting Bahrain’s image locally and regionally, and its accomplishments under the directives and support of the Kingdom’s senior leadership. The meeting concluded by highlighting the partnership between iGA and NIHR, with iGA’s reaffirming its commitment to NIHR’s objectives, particularly in advancing its processes and digital transformation.
