Information & eGovernment Authority CEO meets FDPM Fellows

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mr. Mohamed Ali AlQaed today received the third intake of the FDPM Fellowship program at the iGA’s Isa Town branch.


The meeting was part of a series of meetings with government officials organized by the program aimed at providing the FDPM Fellows with an introduction to the work and achievements of different government departments.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive introduced the iGA’s current strategy and associated projects including the eGovernment Strategy, Cloud Computing projects, in addition to initiatives being implemented in collaboration with other government departments. The Chief Executive also discussed his personal past experiences and development throughout his years at the iGA.

The Chief Executive praised the important role played by the FDPM Fellowship, led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in building leadership skills among young Bahrainis working in middle management positions across government.

The Chief Executive encouraged the FDPM Fellows to take full advantage of the opportunities provided to them throughout the program and wished them success in their future careers. 

The FDPM Fellowship is a vital platform aimed at enhancing the leadership and analytical skills of young government employees. Participants spend a year working as full-time research fellows at the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister, benefiting from advanced training research methods and policy analysis.
