Information & eGovernment Authority in cooperation with Ministry of Youth Affairs Invites Public to Participate in ‘iGA Live’ Instagram Session on eShabab App

With the youth sector actively involved in various programs and activities during the summer break, and in an attempt to continuously promote a digital culture and encourage public eParticipation, the Information & eGovernment Authority’s (iGA) Communications & Marketing Directorate is continuing its interactive ‘iGA Live’ sessions on its official Instagram account @igabahrain. The aim of the sessions is to reinforce awareness of eServices and projects offered via the National Portal, bahrain.bh and apps on the eGovernment Apps Store, bahrain.bh/apps
The iGA invites the public to participate to its 5th episode, which will feature guest host Ministry of Youth Affairs (MYA), Director of Communications and Marketing, Musaed Salman, who will discuss the eShabab app. The session will be tomorrow Monday, 24th July 2023 at 11am.
The session will focus on the eShabab app, which is developed by the iGA in collaboration with MYA and will showcase its range of features such as the programs and events organized by the Ministry and the option for users to register for these programs or add them to their calendars and Youth City 2030 inquiries. Users can also submit a volunteering request through the ‘Sawaed’ service and view the list of challenges faced by government entities and submit suggestions to resolve them through “Almustashar” service and the latest program of youth city 2030.
The main goal of this live session is to give the youth an opportunity to share their suggestions and ask questions about the app and other eServices. It aims to highlight the importance of effective communication with all segments of society and the significance of providing direct and online channels that enable active participation and contribute to the development process. It also highlights the iGA’s commitment to supporting digital transformation efforts.
