Shaikha Manar bint Abdulla Al KhalifaDirector, Geographical Information Systems Directorate
Shaikha Manar possesses a professional experience of 15 years in the software development field. She currently leads the GIS team at the Information & eGovernment Authority as the Director of Geographical Information System Directorate, and is a member of the National Committee for Geospatial Data Governance.
Prior to leading the GIS team she was the Director of System Development and Maintenance at Information & eGovernment Authority where she was in charge of some national projects and government application development. Prior to that Shaikha Manar was with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and also the Public prosecution all in the software Development Field.
Shaikha Manar holds a Masters in IT from Ahlia University and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from University of Bahrain, and is an oracle certified professional.
