
Mr. AlHashemi has over 17 years of experience in the field of Information Systems. He began his career in 2000 as an Information Support Technician in the IT Department and became Chief of Technical Support in 2008. He was the IT and Knowledge Management Director in 2003, Consultant of Strategic Planning & Information in 2014, and was appointed as Acting Director of Support & Maintenance of Government Systems in 2016.
Holding a Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems from University of Bahrain, Mr. Hesham has made numerous valuable contributions and achievements in the field of Information Systems including supervising and monitoring the management of shared services as well as systems according to the latest technologies such as the National Cloud Project for government emails, Zajil correspondence system and the interactive meeting system ‘eMeeting’. In addition to supervising government client relationships management, automating public census as well as developing foreign trade and customs systems.
