With over 19 solid years of experience in strategic marketing, communication planning and implementation; Ms. Lulwa currently holds the post of Director to the Communications & Marketing Directorate. Prior to joining the public sector, she served 7 years in the Telecommunications & ICT industry - holding several positions in the PR & Marketing arena at the Bahrain Telecommunications Company (BATELCO), moving later on to the Banking industry to focus on rebranding as the PR & Corporate Communications Manager at Seera Investment Bank.
Holding a number of impressive qualifications, Ms. Ebrahim has attained her MBA degree in Branding within the Service Sector from the University of Strathclyde, UK; LCCI Diploma from the London Chamber of Commerce; Bachelor’s in Business Management & Marketing from the University of Bahrain; along with Professional Leadership degree from the University of Oxford. A graduate of the first batch of Kawader and a Certified Brand Manager, Ms. Lulwa has also a Social Media professional degree.
Besides being a Jury member of the Bahrain eContent Awards in 2009 and while possessing a wealth of corporate communications knowledge in telecommunications, media relations, social media, marketing communications, events and campaign management; she is at present a Board Member of the Bahrain-UK Alumni and prior Board Member of the Bahrain Internet Society.
