7th Taqyeem Committee Meeting Discusses Government Service Centers in Bahrain

Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed chaired the 7th meeting of the Taqyeem Committee, which was held to identify Bahrain’s government service centers participating in the 4th round of the evaluation program (Taqyeem 4).

Al Qaed expressed his appreciation for the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and highlighted the important role that it plays in enhancing the efficiency of government service centers and maintaining their high performance.

The members covered a number of items, including a review of government service centers and the process of identifying centers eligible for the evaluations as per the standards of the Government Service Centers Evaluation Guide. The meeting discussed recommendations from the central team responsible for the development of evaluation mechanisms. These included innovative alternative evaluation methods, including electronic options, and the findings of investigations into government entities’ compliance with the recommendations of the past Committee and the requirements of the guide to determine their readiness for Taqyeem 4.

The Committee praised the performance of government service centers in ensuring that they offer speedy and comprehensive high-quality services and excellent customer experience to visitors. They also discussed improving visitor experience through strengthening partnerships and opening new channels to achieve the level of progress needed for sustainability and the highest level of performance.

Al Qaed thanked the members, teams, and participating entities for their contributions towards meeting all the requirements for initiating the evaluation process, wishing everyone success in their endeavors.
