As per the report, the value of non-oil imports has decreased by 16% reaching to BD409 million in August 2026 in comparison with BD489 million for same month in 2025. The top 10 countries for imports recorded 68% of the total value of imports.
According to the report, China ranked first for imports to Bahrain, with a total of BD72 million (18%), followed by The United Arab Emirate with BD44 million (11%) and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 42 million (10%).
Other Aluminum Oxide recorded as the top product imported to Bahrain with a total value of BD28 million (7%), followed by Turbo-Jets of a thrust with BD15 million (4%) and PRIVATE CARS being the third with BD14 million (3%).
On the other hand, the total value of non-oil exports (National Origin) decreased by 56% to reach BD153 million during August 2026, compared to BD350 million for same month in 2025. The top 10 countries in exports (National Origin) accounted for 78% of the exports (National Origin) value.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first among countries for then non-oil exports (National Origin) with BD50 million (33%). The United States of America was second with BD19 million (12.4%) and the United Arab Emirate was third with BD18 million (11.8%).
Unwrought Aluminum Alloys recorded as the top products exported in August 2026 with BD42 million (27%), followed by Aluminum Wire Alloyed with a value of BD16 million (10%) and Aluminum Wire not Alloyed with BD13 million (8%).
The total value of non-oil Re-exports decreased by 28% to reach BD46 million during August 2026, compared to BD64 million for same month in 2025. The top 10 countries in Re-exports accounted for 84% of the re-exported value. The United Arab Emirate ranked first with BD16 million (35%) followed by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with BD8 million (18%) and the United States of America with BD4 million (9%).
As per the report, Gold Ingots was the top product re-exported from Bahrain with a value of BD8 million (17%), followed by TURBO-PROPELLERS OF A POWER BD3.8 million (8.3%), and Other parts of airplanes came third with BD3.7 million (8.02%).
As for the Trade Balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, the trade deficit recorded BD210 million dinars in August 2026 compared to a deficit of BD75 million dinars in August 2025.
