
Mrs. Sarhan has been serving in the public sector for over 19 years, during which she has been exposed to different levels of jobs, ranging from being a business analyst to different management levels and working directly with decision makers on national projects and policies for the Kingdom. This enabled Mrs. Sarhan to gain extensive knowledge in government services, specifically in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) field.
Since Mrs. Sarhan joined iGA in 2008, she worked closely with governmental entities and conducted a number of BPR studies on different government services varying in their complexity and cross functionality. Such exposure enabled her to achieve a unique blend of knowledge and experience in both business and Information Technology (IT) fields. Mrs. Sarhan has contributed to transforming over 600 government services from traditional on-the-counter services to electronic services (eServices) offered via various eGovernment channels. Most of those BPR studies resulted in achieving dramatic gains in business performance, leading to simplifying government processes, improving performance, efficiency and effectiveness, and reducing process time, cost and leading to better utilization of resources. Mrs. Sarhan has participated in nationwide committees related to business process reengineering focusing on delivering better services to citizens and residents. She was also appointed as a member of the Board of Directors within the Silah Gulf Company. She also has a prominent role in providing training and sharing her experiences in the field of electronic transformation.
Prior to her current position, she worked at the Economic Development Board and Labour Market Regulatory Authority. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology majoring in eCommerce and Internet Technology, and later her Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Bond University, Australia in 2004. Throughout her career, Mrs. Sarhan has gained various professional certificates in her field such as Certified Process Director, TOGAF, Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9001, Project Management Professional (PMP), Enterprise Business Process Analysis, Mapping and Modeling Certification from George Washington University.
