The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) announced that the Electricity & Water Services App will be officially discontinued starting from Thursday 23 October 2025, following the successful integration and transfer of all its services to the unified MyGov app.

This step supports the commitment towards the government’s mobile apps merger plan, which aims at integrating existing government apps into three main platforms: MyGov app for individuals, Al-Tajir app for businesses and investors, and Bahrain app for visitors.

The electricity and water eServices now available on MyGov app include bill and connection fee payments, inquiries and payments for current and past bills, viewing of previous payments, consumption summaries, average consumption calculations and comparisons, and access to EWA service center locations. These are provided alongside a wide range of other eGovernment services, enabling users to complete their transactions easily and conveniently.

The iGA and EWA urge all citizens and residents to continue accessing electricity, water, and other government services by downloading the MyGov app from the eGovernment Apps Store at bahrain.bh/apps, or by visiting the National Portal bahrain.bh or the EWA website, www.ewa.bh.

For more information or inquiries, citizens and residents may contact the EWA Customer Service Center at 17515555, or submit suggestions and feedback through the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul) or the Tawasul app.

From its launch in February 2025 until August 2025, MyGov app recorded over 550,000 downloads, offering 89 services and features.
