iGA and Royal Academy of Police organizes AI GameDay 2025

In partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and with the support of stc Bahrain, the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in cooperation with the Royal Academy of Police, is organizing the AI GameDay for Information Technology (IT) students from public and private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, set to take place on Thursday, 20th November 2025.

The competition will give students a valuable opportunity to enhance their skills through the use of AI tools and solutions. They will strengthen their creative thinking and problem-solving abilities as they progress through the challenge, contributing to building a capable national talent pool ready to participate in Bahrain’s digital transformation and technological growth.

The Royal Academy of Police stated that the event stated that the event will offer students practical, hands-on experience in applying AI technologies through challenges that mirror real-world scenarios. Participants will also be introduced to the basics of cloud computing using AWS technologies, gaining the opportunity to enhance their technical capabilities. The competition further encourages teamwork and collaboration as students work together to design and deliver innovative, integrated solutions, while honing their data analysis and decision-making abilities.
Supported by stc Bahrain, the top three teams will be awarded at the end of the competition in recognition of their outstanding results and performance.

Preparatory sessions will be held virtually for accepted participants from 18th to 19th November ahead of the competition kickoff. The iGA invites the esteemed public to follow the latest updates through its official social media accounts @igabahrain .
