The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) continues the field Labor Force Survey 2026, targeting a random sample of more than 4,000 households across all the governorates in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The survey is being conducted from October through December 2026.

In this regard, the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA)’s Deputy Chief Executive for Statistics and Population Registry, Mrs. Duaa Sultan Mohamed , stated that the survey aims to provide precise statistical data on labor force characteristics, economic activity, and labor market changes, supporting the development of evident-based plans and policies.

She noted that the survey is being conducted through field interviews and telephone calls, in accordance with the standards and methodologies accredited by the International Labor Organization (ILO). The iGA contacts selected households through the number (17878070) to introduce the survey and schedule field visits.

Mrs. Duaa  added that field researchers will present their identification cards upon visiting the households. Their names and photographs can also be verified through the iGA’s website (iga.gov.bh). She affirmed the  iGA’s commitment to protecting the privacy of the information collected and using it solely for statistical purposes, urging the selected households to cooperate and complete the required interviews.

For inquiries about the survey, the public can contact iGA at (17878070), Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
