The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced that the self-service eKiosk for its services is now available at the Capital Municipality Council’s in Tubli. The initiative reflects the ongoing collaboration and partnership between the Authority and the Capital Municipality Council’s to provide accessible location with easy reach for citizens and residents in support of the Kingdom’s digital initiatives.

The eKiosk allows users to update the ID card chip information, which includes residential address details, and to view chip data using an ID card reader. It also allows registration for the Government Notifications Service, which enables users to receive official notifications electronically via SMS or email, with the option to view notifications directly through the eService.

The iGA highlighted that the eKiosk is in line with iGA’s efforts to expand digital channels and advance digital transformation journey, making it easier for citizens and residents to access government services quickly and conveniently and complete their transactions without the need to visit government service counters.

The self-service eKiosks are available at several locations across the Kingdom, including the self-service center at the iGA’s headquarters in Isa Town (operates 24/7), the iGA’s branch at Seef Mall Muharraq, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) office, the post office at Bahrain Mall, the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) office in Wadi Al Sail, the Social Insurance Organization (SIO), and lately it’s been made available at the Capital Municipality Council in Tubli.
