iGA Showcases Key Digital Services and Projects During the 2nd Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector 2026 Exhibition

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) is participating in the the 2nd Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector, 2026, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, from 29th September to 3rd October, 2026, at Exhibition World Bahrain. The Summit is organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, as part of the 4th GCC Housing Week.

During its participation, the iGA is showcasing a range of digital services and solutions available through the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Portal, bahrain.bh, and its digital channels, enabling citizens to access digital housing and realestate services in different stages of their housing journey through using the revamped eKey 2.0.

The showcased housing-related services include: Apply for Housing Request, Apply for Mazaya Request, and housing financing applications, in addition to the Benefit Credit Report service provided by BENEFIT, which enables beneficiaries to access their credit information and financial obligations, supporting their planning for financing needs. Other services include Contact and Bank Account Details Update, Housing Request Status Enquiry, Electronic Contract Notification and Registration, Address Certificate Registration and Transfer of Property Title Deed, Land Survey Request, and Purchase Cadastral Maps, enabling beneficiaries to complete their transactions electronically with ease and convenience.

During the exhibition, the iGA is also highlighting the MyGov App, which continues to be developed and expanded as a unified digital platform for individuals, providing access to a range of features and government services offered by a number of government entities.

As part of its showcase of digital solutions supporting the real estate sector, the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) is presenting a number of systems and platforms supporting the sector, including the Building Permit System “Benayat” and the Planning Platform, which contribute to enhancing digital integration and connectivity, streamlining government service procedures, and improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to the business sector.

The Information & eGovernment Authority is also showcasing the Bahrain Open Data Portal (data.gov.bh) that provides open government data, supporting innovation, the development of digital solutions and services, and enhancing the use of data across various fields.

The iGA’s participation in the Summit and Exhibition reflects its continued efforts to develop eGovernment services and digital channels, enhance the user experience, and leverage modern technologies and innovative solutions to facilitate access to government services, improve their efficiency, and support the Kingdom of Bahrain’s digital transformation journey.
